ROOST
Accessed by an arched-stone footbridge over a rushing stream sits The Roost, an exquisite cabin of brick and stone built in 1939. The Roost is situated in a small clearing ringed by hemlock, maple and private gardens. Enter the front door into a small vestibule leading to an elegant pecky cypress-paneled living area with a centerpiece fireplace and kitchen. Three steps down from the living area is the master bedroom with a king bed, fireplace and separate "his" and "hers" bathrooms.
Master: Single king bed with his/her baths, fireplace, living room with fireplace, large antique kitchen; four additional rooms are available: 1) Wood Room: king bed, shared bath; 2) Blue Room: king bed, shared bath; 3) Twin Room: Two twin beds, shared bath with king room; 4) Alcove Room: Single twin bed, shared bath with king room. Large outdoor terrace and sits on convergence of both branches of Fuller Brook. Backed by lush forest. Four fireplaces total.
