The ultimate Glendorn summer experience is to stay in the Hideout- an incredible stone and brick cottage with slate roof, fireplace and rustic interior. This unique and remote cabin rests atop one of Glendorn's hills and is surrounded by a hardwood forest. Upon entering one is struck by the stunning interior; slate floors, brick, stone and hardwood finish work, oversized brick fireplace, tile bath and king bed, make for a relaxing décor. An outdoor terrace with a large fireplace and barbecue area is ideal for al fresco dining and entertaining. Access is via a winding unpaved road up through the wooded hillside- a five minute drive from the Big House. Catered lunch and dinner are available on request.

Due to weather restrictions and remote location reservations for Forest Hideout are limited during the winter season based on the road conditions up to the cabin. Winter access is by snowmobile or track transportation.
