SPRING GOBBLER
Spring Gobbler season for the turkey hunter is bar none the most exciting hunting available. Calling an untrusting Gobbler within shotgun range while Jakes and Hens are nearly setting on your lap can test the nerves of the calmest of hunters.
Brian Minich our staff expert can take you out in the evenings while he roosts the birds for the next morning hunt, often referred to as putting the bird to bed. He’ll meet you at your accommodation before day break with coffee and a continental breakfast to keep you going until lunch. He will then position you in the best location of the birds you roosted the night before and with his expert calling techniques coax the wary bird into range.
Brian has been guiding Glendorn and outside hunters in the area with great success. You can’t beat that!
How does he do it? Not only is Brian a great caller, at Glendorn we limit the number of hunts we do based on our turkey population and give the birds very little pressure.
