Glendorn Family Experience
Treat your family to a truly unforgettable resort experience, marked by exciting activities, attentive service, picturesque surroundings, and memories to last a lifetime. This inclusive package includes cabin accommodation for families of 4-16 members requiring 2-8 private bedrooms with private bathrooms, dinner nightly, traditional Glendorn breakfast daily, lunch each afternoon (on arrival -or- departure and days in-between), one hour guided activity daily, access to all non-guided resort activities, amenities & equipment, and endless opportunities for exploring our 1,330 acres.

Day One
Check-in on a Sunday afternoon and tour our 1280 acre property with a Glendorn team member.
Settle into your cabin’s private bedroom with bathroom.
Dress-up for your etiquette lesson and four-course chef’s tasting menu dinner.
Meet at Skipper Lake after dinner for a welcome bonfire and s’mores.
Retire to your cabin.
Day Two
Awake and join the group for a buffet-style breakfast in Glendorn’s Main Lodge Sunporch.
Meet at Jill’s Lake for a 3.5 hour fly-fishing lesson with an Orvis-Endorsed fishing guide.
Walk back to Glendorn’s swimming pool for a poolside barbeque.
Hop aboard Glendorn’s horse-drawn carriage for a ride to Bondieu Lake. Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, pedal boating, and fly-fishing.
Pitch a tent and set-up your lakeside camp.
Enjoy a casual, lakeside dinner with after-dinner bonfire and s’mores.
Retire to tent for an evening lakeside.
Day Three
Awake lakeside to breakfast cooking on an open fire.
Enjoy an informative, guided nature hike along a portion of Glendorn’s 17.5 mile trail system.
Indulge in a picnic lunch at your destination.
Meet at the stables for a 2-hour guided horseback ride.
Arrive at the range for an archery lesson and return to your cabin to refresh for the night ahead.
Create and prepare your own pizza dinner with our acclaimed Executive Chef.
Enjoy an evening of movies, video games, billiards, ice cream, and pizza in Glendorn’s Playhouse.
Retire to your cabin.
Day Four
Awake and join the group for a buffet-style breakfast in Glendorn’s Main Lodge Sunporch.
Meet at the range for target shooting and trap & skeet instruction.
Enjoy open, non-guided activities including hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, pedal boating, fly-fishing, swimming, etc.
Meet at the reception office for a guided mountain bike ride to the Forest Hideout for lunch.
Enjoy more open activities including hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, pedal boating, fly-fishing, swimming, etc.
Rejoin group and bike to Conglomeration Castle to set-up camp for the evening.
Enjoy a wilderness cookout with bonfire and s’mores.
Retire to tent for an evening in the forest.

Refresh in your accommodation.
Regroup at the reception office for an offsite excursion to the Zippo-Case Museum.

Glendorn is a fully-fenced, 1280 acre lodge in the Allegheny National Forest. The above program is directed and supervised by Dave and Tanya Okerlund. Safety is paramount. Glendorn provides all meals, accommodation, equipment, and proper supervision for all of the above. Program price, including all taxes and gratuity, is $1800.00 per child.
