What is your cancellation policy?

At The Lodge at Glendorn we do our best to accommodate changes in travel plans, but because of our size we must maintain a strict cancellation policy.  If cancellations are made at least 30 days prior to arrival we guarantee a full refund of the deposit less a $100 processing fee.  Based on availability we would be more than happy to move your full deposit to new dates from six months of your original arrival date if the cancellation takes place 29 to 10 days prior to reservation.  If the cancellation is made after 10 days prior to your stay, half of your original deposit will be retained and the remainder of the deposit will be allocated to your new reservation dates within six months following the original arrival date.

Do you provide off-property shuttle services?

Shuttle services we will provide outside of our property is to the two closest airports to Glendorn; Bradford Regional Airport and Buffalo/Niagara International Airport (for which a $250.00 one-way fee is charged).  If using this service, we ask that airplane flight and date information be provided to our front desk a week in advance.

Can I prepare my own meals and cook in the cabins?

While many of our cabins offer full refrigerators for guest use, the kitchenettes are not-equipped for cooking and meal preparation.  If you do have any food allergies or dietary requirements, please let our staff know so we can assist you.  Please refer to our Dining pages for sample menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinners.

Can I bring my own beer, wine & spirits?

You are welcome to bring any bottles of alcohol at your leisure, as the cabins are not stocked with any selections. For a specific selection to be stocked in your accommodation, please contact our reservations department prior to arrival.  For a special bottle of wine that you would bring to enjoy with dinner, there is a $25 per bottle corkage fee.

Can I smoke on property?

In accordance with Pennsylvania State Laws, we are a non-smoking property.  Smoking is not permitted inside any of the buildings or accommodations. You are welcome to smoke outdoors in the privacy of your terrace.

Are pets allowed and is there a fee?

Glendorn welcomes your four legged, furry friends in designated cabins: The Overlook, The Hideout, Jill’s Cabin, Clayt’s Cabin and The Loft Cabin. Pets are not permitted in the Main Lodge. We request that all pets be kenneled or removed from the accommodation when your cabin is being serviced by our staff.  Our one time pet fee is $75.00 for the first pet and an additional $25.00 for the second pet.

Glendorn is home to numerous wild animals and it is advised that pets be on a leash when outside for their safety. View additional information about our pet policy.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Arrival time is at 3:00 p.m. and departure time is at 11:00 a.m.; Later departures may be extended based on availability.; Please contact Guest Services the evening before.

How far in advance should we schedule guided activities?

It is strongly encouraged to make reservations for scheduled activities as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment as our guided activities availabilities are based on our guides schedules.

Are children allowed in the Dining Room?

Due to our intimate dining experience, our main Dining Room is not recommended for small children under the age of 8.  Families accompanied with small children are welcome to dine in the adjoining Main Lodge Sunporch.

Do cell-phones work and do you have Wi-Fi?

Given our mountain valley location, we do have limited cell-phone coverage on the property.  The best area to receive a signal is around the Main Lodge and Verizon provides the best reception.

All accommodations, with the exception of our Hideout Cabin, are outfitted with a Wi-Fi access to our guest internet. This internet may be used by guests for cell phone WiFi calling, as well as other computer and mobile device needs.
