Step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with nature in this “off-grid” cabin. Designed for true relaxation, the Hideout Cabin offers no television, cell phone service, Wi-Fi, or landline—inviting you to fully unplug. Here, the rhythm of the forest replaces the constant buzz of technology, providing a rare opportunity to slow down, savor the moment, and enjoy uninterrupted time in the great outdoors.

Originally built in 1931, the idyllic and private Forest Hideout is a stone and brick cabin located at the top of one of Glendorn’s hills and surrounded by hardwood forests.  The charming interior features slate floors, a wood-burning fireplace, kitchenette, and king-sized bed with private bath. There is a private outdoor terrace with a fireplace and barbeque area.  The Forest Hideout is particularly popular for our honeymooners and other guests seeking a romantic retreat. It may also be used as an event venue, and is particularly popular for small wedding ceremonies and receptions because of its large private terrace. Forest Hideout is one of several accommodations on our resort that is dog-friendly.      Learn more about our pet policy.

The Hideout is one of the most unique accommodations on property and requires a vehicle to transport back to the Main Lodge for meals.

**This accommodation is rustic and remote–therefore there is no television or internet connectivity.**
