EVENTS AT GLENDORN FOR 2026

From nature-rich adventures to culinary ones, there’s always something to do, in every season, at our scenic Northwest Pennsylvania resort. Family-friendly activities, suitable for children of all ages, are part of the regular lineup of what’s available. Plus, we offer special events, such as campfires with complimentary s’mores and microbrews, and Fall cider press demonstrations and wagon rides.

 

Main Lodge Campfires:  Saturday Evenings

Join us each Saturday evening at 8:00pm for a roaring outdoor campfire at our Main Lodge firepit. The evening activity will be accompanied by complimentary microbrews and s’mores. The campfire is hosted year-round and is a fantastic way to spend time with family, friends and other Glendorn guests!

Private campfires may also be arranged at one of our premier destinations or your own accommodation. Guests may request a private campfire by calling our Reservations staff, or by noting interest on your pre-arrival concierge form.

 

Valentine’s Day – Saturday, February 14, 2026

Romantic and intimate, our resort offers a respite from the common. Take the opportunity to embrace this day with your loved one – embark on a scenic nature hike and cozy up afterwards next to a roaring fire or enjoy an afternoon of ice skating followed by Glendorn’s signature hot cocoa! For a more relaxing experience, you may enjoy an afternoon at our Forest Spa, offering both massages and facials. Conclude the day in our Main Lodge Dining Room, partaking in a delicious 6-course prix fixe menu with wine pairing. The evening meal will be accompanied by live music. Two-night minimum stay requirement.

 Allow our property to assist in arranging for a truly romantic and memorable Valentine’s Day. Contact our Guest Services team to arrange champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and a dozen red roses in your accommodation upon arrival.

 

Mother’s Day Weekend: May 8 – 10, 2026

Pamper your mother with a weekend at Glendorn. Express your love, and treat your mother to a weekend of rest, relaxation, and restoration. Wake up the following Sunday morning and join us at our Main Lodge Sunporch for a delicious made to order breakfast. In addition, indulge your mother with various luxuries including champagne, flowers, or a spa treatment which are among the many possibilities available. Two-night minimum stay requirement.

 

 Memorial Day Weekend: May 22 – 25, 2026

On Saturday evening, kick the summer off in traditional Glendorn fashion. Join us for a festive celebratory outdoor buffet dinner, complimented by live music to complete the evening’s celebrations! Three-night minimum stay requirement.

 

Summer Solstice Celebrations: June 19 – 21, 2026

Say hello to summer at our annual Summer Solstice Celebration! On Saturday, June 20, the height of summer will be celebrated with an open-air gourmet buffet dinner at our Bondieu Lake, accompanied by live music, a bonfire, and a fireworks display. Three-night minimum stay requirement.

 

Independence Day Weekend Celebrations: July 3 – 5, 2026

Celebrate the weekend with Independence Day festivities! On Saturday July 4, dinner will be an open-air gourmet buffet, served in the glory of nature at Bondieu Lake complete with live music, a bonfire and fireworks! Three night minimum stay requirement.

 

Clam Bake Weekend: August 7 – 9, 2026

This year marks our 10th annual Glendorn Clam Bake! On Saturday, August 8 our Culinary Team will create a clam dinner in traditional New England style, paired with paella prepared over the open fire at one of our premier destinations. Add to it all the sweet sounds of live music, and this is a true summertime event, proving to be a sell-out affair every year! Two-night minimum stay requirement.

 

Blackberry Picking Weekend: August 14 – 16, 2026

The hills of Glendorn are covered with delectable blackberries, enjoyed by the local creatures and guests alike. Guests take a special hike with our enthusiastic guide staff who help locate the best of the crops. Enjoy the literal fruits of your labor in your cabin or send them to the kitchen who will make a delicious dessert for you. Blackberry jam is the departing gift of choice. Two-night minimum stay requirement.

 

 Labor Day Weekend – September 4 – 7, 2026

Savor the last long weekend of the summer season. On Saturday, September 5, Labor Day will be celebrated with a lakeside gourmet buffet dinner accompanied by live music and a bonfire. Three-night minimum stay requirement.

 

Saturday Wagon Rides in October

Every Saturday in October at 3:00pm, Glendorn hosts a cider press demonstration for guests to observe and participate in at the Main Lodge Terrace. Once the apples are pressed, the cider can be consumed in its true form or enjoyed as part of one of Glendorn’s signature cocktails while riding along in our tractor-pulled wagon. Our Culinary Team will also serve sweet seasonal treats, including candied apples, apple fritters or our Signature Glendorn Whoopie Pies!

 

THE HOLIDAYS AT GLENDORN

Thanksgiving Holiday – Thursday, November 26, 2026

Giving thanks whether gathering with family, or friends who’ve become family, is the central theme of this celebration – a favorite among the annual holidays for many.  Expect lots of turkey and pie! (You many want to work up an appetite with an early-afternoon hike).  All guests will join in a late-afternoon meal, served family-style in the dining room, with the option of a wine pairing. This grand celebratory meal is followed, several hours later, with mid-evening deliveries of turkey sandwiches and mini pies to guest rooms and cabins. Three-night minimum stay requirement.

 

New Year’s Eve Celebrations – December 31, 2026

Goodbye 2026…Hello, 2027 – New Year’s Eve Celebration. Imagine waking up on January 1, 2027 surrounded by nature’s best. Ring in the New Year in Glendorn’s rustic elegant setting!  Delight your taste buds with our Executive Chef’s 6-course tasting menu, accompanied by a wine pairing. The revelry is heightened with live music and a champagne toast at midnight. (Semi-formal New Year’s Eve Dinner. No black tie required.)  Three-night minimum stay requirement.
